These terms apply when you use the CGCMate app ("the app"). CGCMate is made by Arnsor ("we", "us"). By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. For our website, see the Arnsor terms of use.
1. CGCMate is an unofficial app
CGCMate connects to a student portal run by another organisation. The app is not made, endorsed or sponsored by that organisation, and any names or marks belong to their owners. Read the CGCMate disclaimer for details.
2. Using the app
- Use the app only with an account that belongs to you, or that you are allowed to use.
- Do not try to reach other people's information, break the security of any service, or overload it with automated requests.
- Follow the rules of the portal. If the portal stops you from using it with a third-party app, we cannot override that.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where the law allows it.
3. Accuracy of information
The app shows information it receives from the portal, such as attendance figures. That information can be late, incomplete or wrong because of the portal or a change on its side. The official record is always the one held by the portal and your institution. Estimates in the app, such as how many classes you can still miss, are simple calculations for guidance only. Do not rely only on the app for decisions that matter, such as exam eligibility or deadlines. Check with your institution.
4. Free and Pro
- The core features of CGCMate are free. Some features may need you to watch a rewarded ad.
- Pro gives extra features for a fixed period, for example one or two months. When the period ends, Pro switches off unless you renew.
- Prices and what Pro includes are shown before you buy. We may change them for future purchases.
- Payments made through Google Play follow Google Play's payment and refund rules. For Pro activated by us directly, tell us within 7 days of payment if something is wrong and we will work it out with you.
- We may stop Pro for an account that breaks these terms.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. It may stop working if the portal changes. We may update, change or discontinue the app or a feature. Where we can, we will give notice.
6. Our content
The CGCMate name, logo, app and designs belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose. They do not give you ownership of anything.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty, express or implied, including about accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Arnsor is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by relying on information shown in the app. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the portal.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page, with the date at the top. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law that applies where Arnsor is established, and by any mandatory consumer law that applies where you live.
